CD-Rom / Dvd

Now there are different types of CD-ROM
We have:
  • CD-Rom RD (Read only memory) Capacity from 700 MB to 900 MB.
  • CD-Rom RW (Rewriteble) Capacity from 700 MB to 800 MB.
  • DVD-Rom RD (Read only memory) Capacity from 2GB to 8GB.
  • DVD-Rom RW (Rewriteble) Capacity from 4,3 to 4,5 GB.
Pendrive

  • You need a USB port.
  • They have different capacities from 128 MB to 4 GB.
  • The standard capacity is 1 or 2 GB
  • They have much more capacity than floppy disk.
  • They are faster and very easy to carry.
  • You can store all kind of files and floders.
  • You can also store programmes.
  • You can install them in another computer or in the pendrive itself.
  • They are becoming cheaper and cheaper day by day.
  • Nowadays you can get a 2GB pen drive for less than 20 €.
